About
.
I take an expanded approach to drawing as a way of exploring our physical environment and revealing it in new ways. I am interested in how the cross-over between drawing and photography can inform a visual and tactile excavation of our ‘lived-in’ spaces.
.
My recent body of work is based on the interior of my rented house. Large-scale rubbings and cut-out silhouettes physically reference the structure and fixtures of the building. The interior is revealed as fragmented and in flux, reflecting an attempt to grasp my own experience of living there.
